Andrew then went to work for Black Hawk County Abstract & Title Company in Waterloo as In-House Counsel and Vice President. Here he developed an expertise in Real Estate Law, particularly Real Estate Title Law. During this time, Andrew was also heavily involved with the Iowa Land Title Association, serving as President, several terms on its Board of Directors, Abstracting Standards Committee, and as an instructor for its Beginner Abstractor School and Certified Land Title Professional classes. He also served as an Adjunct Professor for Hawkeye Community College, teaching Business Law.

In 2018, Andrew founded Nordstrom Law Firm. In addition to his law practice, Andrew has also worked as a Business Consultant, as a Technical Director of a nonprofit business, a Travel Consultant, and an Artificial Intelligence training expert. Andrew’s diverse business background gives him a unique perspective to understand the needs of his clients.

Andrew is a 30+ year resident of Cedar Falls, where he lives with his two dogs. He is a professional Uncle of 6 local nieces and nephews. In his free time, he loves to travel, enjoy time with friends and family, and take in sporting events.
